Grow the Movement

Growing the climate justice movement is a moral imperative

As people of faith and conscience, we know a world community governed by peace, equity, and compassion is possible—and without it, all life on Earth may perish. We are called to build relationships, bridge differences, and inspire hope.

We envision
a movement fed by hope, love and nonviolence that amplifies the voices of frontlines communities, counters oppression, and inspires all people everywhere to join the urgent creative struggle for climate justice.

We commit
to taking action to grow leadership, expand knowledge, build relationships, and foster hope, connection, and change.

Take action!

This April, march, teach-in, and advocate for reclaiming our democracy from the likes of Big Oil and the Koch brothers:

From April 2-16, join the Democracy Spring march from Philadelphia to Washington, DC, culminating with a direct action sit-in at Congress. As the national election begins to take center stage, people of all ages, faiths, political perspectives, and walks of life will bring the popular cry for change to Washington in a way that's impossible to ignore: with nonviolent civil disobedience on a historic scale, demanding that Congress listen to the People and take immediate action to save our democracy.

From April 16-18, join the weekend of Democracy Awakening, converging on Washington, DC, and state capitols for demonstrations, teach-ins, direct action trainings, music, a Rally for Democracy, and pressing for a Congress of Conscience through non-violent direct action and advocacy. Together we will build a nation that is truly of, by and for the people.
