Grow Climate Justice

One of the three pillars of Commit2Respond is “Grow”—growing the climate justice movement and growing our capacity to create change. As our contribution as one of the groups leading Commit2Respond, the Unitarian Universalist College of Social Justice is organizing GROW Climate Justice: the Grounded & Resilient Organizers’ Workshop.

This powerful workshop will bring together fantastic facilitators with young adult activists for a five-day training on spiritually grounded activism. We are focusing on young adults because young people coming in to this movement will have to continue this struggle for the next 50 years, and we are committed to giving them the skills, tools, and relationships necessary for that kind of resilience.

To help support this training and make it financially accessible to the widest possible cadre of young adults, we have launched a crowd-sourced fund drive. We’re more than two-thirds of the way to our goal of $15,000, but we must hit or exceed this target or we receive nothing—and we have just one more week!

Please support the development of grounded and resilient climate justice organizers: please contribute and share this campaign.

Thank you!
