My Activity

I have been active with environmental concerns for at least 35 years, and served on the boards of the Ohio Environmental Council in the 1980s, and Ohio Alliance for the Environment in 1990s, on the Public Interest Advisory Committee of ORSANCO 1986-94, Ohio Council of Churches environment committee 1998-2004 (set up after Kyoto), and board of UUSC 2001-3. Raised in hard rock mining Nevada, I have lived in coal mining southeast Ohio for over 50 years. So my interests as a citizen activist have long included clean air, water and land. I am a long-time advocate for peace, choice, women's and racial equality, and international cooperation ( UN specialized agencies, especially UNICEF). I have lived in England, Germany and Spain.
