First Parish publicized and took part in the November 10, 2015 Legislative Action Day at the Massachusetts State House sponsored by the newly formed MA Interfaith Coalition for Climate Action. Six First Parish members joined 200 other participants on the Grand Staircase of the State House to hear religious leaders and politicians speak eloquently about the need for climate justice. Afterwards, participants visited their local legislators to advocate for the five energy priorities advocated by the coalition.
