Promote knowledge sharing, and action, within my congregation. Advocate for the congregation, via individual actions, to reduce its carbon footprint and energy consumption.

I am joining commit2respond in order to join with others to advocate for clean cities, clean water, and clean air as priorities. I believe that it is our right and privilege as American citizens to encourage our government to put a high priority on preserving our quality of life, while preserving the goodness of the environment that we live in.

Interested in water conservation, native plants, helping my community, promoting bike lanes.

I act all the time, mainly on petitions, call-ins, sharing information with people, spreading ideas that I learned pre-WWII when we had to take action to defeat fascism., such as rationing,
lights out curfews, etc. We should now institute a lights out curfew (11p.m) to 5 a.m.) excepting emergency situations such as hospitals. It would save an enormous amount of fossil fuel by taking such a simple action. I will practice blogging, and then sign up to blog.
