Please let me know how I can help. I am a member of the Nature Coast Unitarian Universalists Congregation in Citrus County Florida. If I can use my background as an environmental scientist to assist with communications and advocacy, I will be pleased to do so.

Our church is solar powered and energy efficient - but we are not a green sanctuary. Our first step in that direction will be to install rain barrels to catch rain water/runoff. Our hope is to eventually become a green sanctuary.

A small group from Green Sanctuary and Social Action Council are meeting 3/25/15 to plan a congregation-side proposal for a Climate Action Project, which will reach out into the congregation and the wider community.

I have started a blog and life coaching business for those who accept climate change, are frightened by its implications, and want to take action. I work with those who have choices, but are overwhelmed by what might be the 'best' next step. Having spent a decade on our town's recycling and sustainability committees and continuing the conversion of our 2 acre suburban house and lot to a more resilient space, I am eager to help others begin their own transitions.

My blog and business is called "Our Hybrid Live." I am all about helping others work with what they have and who they are to make the best decisions in the context of their own lives. There are many paths to a more sustainable and resilient life.
