My impression is that this a one-way thing. You (perhaps the sponsoring organizations) bring info to us with the hope that we will do something with it.. It would be more appealing, meaningful and powerful if this were designed to draw on the wisdom and initiatives of the participants.

Groups like yours and mine -- The Citizens Climate Lobby-- need to join forces so we can all speak and act as one. Get congregations to join The Citizens Climate Lobby for example, and get CCL members to support Commit2Respond. See our website and contact our headquarters. Wee have the same goals. We have an earth Day Service scheduled and are looking for a social justice project that could get the whole congregation involved. We are already active in Community organizing in Buffala, of which we are a suburb, but am looking for something local.
